Bob - yes I do like me some call of the wild. Although my kids too think it is less than stellar. Great to have met on this thread.

Saeed,

I was hoping to get y'all involved, but alas the music guy one. So my title was right, not I. Wish it was YOU or bob, but it wasn't.

Hi,

Thanks for the plug. I'm one of the 3 authors from On Product Management. We do our best to keep the writing at an authoritative level.

Wouldn't have heard about SOBCon had I not seen the referrer link coming in from your blog.

I'll definitely look into the contest.

Gaylord, eh? How cool is that! I'd no idea.

Some of my fondest childhood memories were traveling to Gaylord to visit the Call of the Wild. My kids can't seem to get into it, but I still like to go about once every other year or so.

Thank you so much for that trip down memory lane. That was amazingly vivid. There's the power of geography for you: mention a single town and I get misty-eyed!

Without a doubt tough stuff for Chris and Liz. I'm from gaylord, so I was thinking Alma, Mt. Pleasant or Lansing, but I can see the tri-cities.

Cheers!

Great post! I am amazed at the quality of posts that the contest has created. I think Chris and Liz have some tough work ahead of them deciding.

Mid-Michigan, by the way, is a specific region. Our TV stations even use the label.

Specifically, I live near the Tri-Cities, a part of Mid-Michigan. How does that one sit with you?

The Tri-Cities are Saginaw, Bay City and Midland.

Oh, and we are "Up North." ;)
